About the Accessible Game Hub

The Accessible Game Hub lists audio-based and text-based games that blind and visually impaired people can play today. Every entry is checked by a human before it appears, so the list stays current rather than filling up with dead links.

How games get listed

Anyone can suggest a game — no account is needed. Suggestions are private until an administrator reviews them. When a suggestion is approved it is published in the main table; if it is turned down, nothing is published.

Accessibility statement

This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. In practice that means:

  • Everything works with the keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
  • A skip link takes you straight to the main content of every page.
  • The game list is a real data table with proper row and column headers, so screen readers can announce each cell in context.
  • Search and filter results are announced automatically as they change.
  • Form errors are announced, tied to their field, and your answers are never lost.
  • Text and controls meet AA contrast, in both the light and dark themes.
  • Buttons and links are large enough to hit easily, and nothing requires dragging.
  • No sound or motion starts on its own.
